Why I want to apply

Dorm Sessions blends music, good vibes, and creative energy, and I want to help continue that.

With experience in PR, design and photography, I know how to bring stories to life and make concerts and artists shine.

Who am I?

Me

I’m Hannah, a second-year Social Sciences student with a passion for music, photography, and design. I love working on creative projects that bring people together.

Why i want to be PR

Dorm Sessions is everything I love: live music, community, and creative energy. I admire how it exists both within the AUC bubble and beyond it, connecting students with the Amsterdam music scene.

In my final year, I want to be part of something I care about, collaborate with a motivated team, and help create fun events.

My experience

Musical PR

I created and ran a recruitment campaign to boost audition sign-ups, using targeted Instagram posts and stories. Now I am working on content to drive ticket sales, including teaser posts, cast features, and countdowns.

Winter Formal PR

I handled all PR for the event, from building hype on Instagram with countdowns and story posts to photographing the night for post-event coverage.

Musical Project Manager

Coordinated the full student production of Beetlejuice: The Musical, organising timelines, managing communication across different teams, and keeping everything on track from auditions to rehearsals.

Concert Photographer

Captured live concerts from Dorm Sessions and other student gigs, focusing on capturing the energy, emotion, and atmosphere to share and remember.

I'm excited to create pre-show content using artists’ own photos, then follow up with my own shots from the night for post-show recaps. I’ve also just got a new camera and am excited at the opportunity to explore concert videography.
